Michael S. Faino – President and Portfolio Manager
Mr. Faino founded Great Oak Investment Management LLC in 2005. Before Great Oak, Mike worked for 12 years at Cambridge Associates as an investment advisory consultant to endowment and foundation clients ranging in asset size from $10 million to $5 billion. Mike also worked for Fidelity Investments and Advantage International. Mike graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1987 and received his MBA degree from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
Deborah S. Christie CFA – Director of Research and Chief Compliance Officer
Ms. Christie co-founded Great Oak in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Deborah worked for Cambridge Associates for four years evaluating small-cap portfolio managers. Prior to Cambridge, Deborah performed company fundamental research including extensive modeling, at Willamette Management Associates and Nathan Associates. Deborah, a CFA charterholder, received a double BA from the University of California at Davis and an MBA from Georgetown University.
Matthew A. Alley – Equity Analyst
Mr. Alley joined Great Oak in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked for Cambridge Associates as an investment performance analyst tracking performance of client portfolios. Matt worked at Rydex Investments prior to joining Cambridge. Matt graduated from Virginia Tech with a double BS in Finance and Management.
